Few more pictures of my setup on the first brewday using the new equipment. I decided to do a simple belgian amber ale which consisted of munich malt II, northern brewer hops and Belgian WY3522 yeast with the addition of dextrose.
HLT, mash tun and kettle sat patiently waiting to be used
reconfirming the dead space in my mash tun which is 5.5l which is more than when i first measured it
Control box heating up the HLT (mash tun temperature probe not connected)
Draining the wort from the mash tun into a bucket
Boiling up the wort before adding the hops
In the FV all happy
First brewday using the new set up
