Waiting for the new pumps and PSUs to come in. Have taken collection of 50 PLATE 100Kw CHILLER from elsewhere and now think it maybe a good idea to get a pump to recirculate / whirlpool the cooled wort so as the cold break collects in the middle of the boiler. Worked a treat - held 65.6C with 5.54 Kg pale malt (trying to make a BIAB German Pilsner) for 75 mins under a duvet bungie corded onto the pot. Only slight problem was the amount of hot/cold break material and hop leaves left in the bottom of the pot due to me having bought a 12" bazooka filter. Hav...

Superb quality pot. https://t.co/hcVLB7IbHT Tested heat loss using 35l of plain old water. Raised temp to 71C...only lost 5c in fifty mins. Mash would hold temp better I'd imagine. :D This was bought for my 1st trip into the world of BIAB. Once I'm familiar with this I'll be using this pot as my HLT...
