if i want to mash at 66.8, what temp would be advised to set for mash in? or can i simply set it at desired temp and slowly stir in grains. i have found that if i set it higher to allow for cooling the mash spends too long at a higher temp and the whole grain bed will take quite a long time to cool to desired mash temp. any advice at all would be gratefully received. I have the brew devil 30 litre kit.
